About Mansour

Leaders know the way, go the way, and show the way!

From Lows to Highs

Mansour decided to take control of his career path when he failed his Bachelor’s dissertation in 2013. It was a truly defining moment and an eye-opener which led him to realign his approach and start again.

The process called for a shift in vision. The laser-sharp focus on goals and high work ethic got him to ace the master’s program.

His academic success made him realize that no matter how huge the goal is, persistence and hard work can enable him to achieve anything he sets his mind to. And indeed, this was true. Due to his dedication, the success snowballed. He kept on nailing milestones in his visual field and went on achieving every single one of them.

Entrepreneurial Journey

If you don’t start, you’ll never finish!

Mansour realized his inner commitment towards being successful. One of the first entrepreneurial steps that he took was to make himself the pledge to earn £100,000 before the end of his master’s. He ended up achieving the goal and added extensive entrepreneurial experience.

M&M Crepes

03.

Maak Agency

Spending a year at THIQAH, a consultancy, he decided to change careers and took a huge risk to reinvent what he saw as the “boring” events management and exhibition industry. He secured a loan of SAR 0.8 million to start his own business.

As a believer in smart work, Mansour came up with the idea of a new kind of business that blends events management and exhibitions with digital marketing and interior design services.

He founded the Maak Agency with a friend—Fahad Al Nufaie—and the risk paid off when they made SAR 1.8 million from their first event. He calls the achievement “the first tick on the list of becoming a millionaire”.

That success came after “working smart” on new strategies to make events profitable, including the trendsetting feature of selling VIP access to events before they open to the public.

In addition, he created additional revenue streams for his company by taking control of the supply of food and beverages at the events that the company organizes.

The biggest feather in the Maak Agency’s cap came in 2019 when it organized the Riyadh Season, the biggest cultural and entertainment program in Saudi Arabia’s history, which was launched to transform Saudi Arabia’s status as one of the world’s most attractive tourist and entertainment destinations.

Some of the other major events Maak has participated in by contributing their services and talents. These include:

  • The G-20 Summit
  • The Formula E motor race (for three seasons)
  • The Crown Prince Camel Festival Race (for two seasons)
  • MDLBEAST

While these are among the largest events ever held in Saudia Arabia, Mansour Al Sanooni considers one of his biggest achievements to be the 4,000 temporary jobs his company created while arranging various events.

Apart from managing events and exhibitions, Maak also offers digital marketing, space planning, interior design, and furniture sourcing services, some of which are delivered to clients specifically for the exhibitions and events it puts on.

The digital marketing wing of Maak works as an integrated digital marketing services provider. It offers branding, graphic design, social media management, and marketing strategies for its clients. The integrated business model supports each wing of the company and enables it to generate diverse revenue streams.
